Cycling is how I see the world

There is a moment every cyclist knows. The road opens, the gradient eases, the noise of everyday life falls away — and for a few seconds, nothing else exists. Just movement, air, and the quiet certainty that this is exactly where you should be.

That moment is why Violca exists.

I have spent years finding it on roads across Europe — through the Ardennes, along the sun-bleached lanes of Tuscany, through the forests of Poland at dawn. Cycling gave me something nothing else could: a practice of presence. A way of being fully in my body and fully in the world at the same time.

When I could not find a single place that understood cycling the way I did — not as fitness, not as sport, but as a way of living — I decided to build it.

Violca is my answer to a question I kept asking: where is the store that carries only the things worth owning? Where every jersey has been considered on a real ride, every piece chosen because it performs as beautifully as it looks, and nothing is stocked by accident?

Movement brings the body and spirit together. Cycling is your time, your freedom, your choice. I want to support that — not just with the right kit, but with a place that genuinely loves what it does.
